Everyone seeks independence, and those with disabilities are no different. Our job is to draw on a vast network, both within the community and beyond, to help all reach their greatest level of independence.
Often, that's accomplished by providing in-home and community-based services through Medicaid's CAP-MR/DD program, which helps people with mental and developmental disabilities who might otherwise need care in a residential facility far from home. Services include day habilitation, supported living, personal care and respite for family members. All are individualized and provided one-on-one to meet our participants' needs.
But that's not all. We offer a day program featuring compensatory education classes for adults, where participants can develop a wide range of personal skills, and training through LCI's innovative Assistive Technology Center. Then, there are Adult Basic Education and GED classes to help participants complete their education, as well as personal assistance provided through the federal MR/MI program.
LCI is fully accredited by CARF, the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.
